This party is a joke if they don't nominate Weld

I hope Sharpe or Dearn is the VP, the party doesn't need another Republican-lite on the ticket.

This video from Sharpe is weird, much like the rest of the anti-Johnson/anti-Weld candidates.

If they nominate a total idiot it would make this entire convention useless.

We're seriously bickering about dividing the party? If Weld is the VP a maximum of 7 people will not vote for the Libertarian Party than would otherwise.

Based off of the nomination speeches, I'm guessing that Weld, Grayson, and Sharpe will probably all do pretty well, with Dearn possibly doing alright due to her endorsement from Petersen and Coley probably doing the worst.

Dearn will do a LOT better than Grayson...

I liked Dearn. If Weld wasn't a candidate, she would probably be my choice.

I thought her nomination speech was quite uninspiring, but I could be wrong.

I feel like Libertarians are going to nominate a total nutjob in 2020 as a backlash to the Johnson/Weld ticket, in the same way Trump's nomination was a backlash to McCain and Romney.

Weld's chances would rest on the entire Pro-Johnson moderate faction voting for him, otherwise the more hardcore faction will oust him easily.

Johnson's pitch for Weld is strong enough to sway enough delegates to win it, but the entire thing reeks of desperation.

Because he knows the delegates really don't want Weld.

But the delegates need Weld to make an impact on the race.

The delegates don't want the party to become Republican-lite

You need to be at least somewhat pragmatic if you want to win more than 0.8% of the vote
