Weld's doing better than I thought he would, at least based on the Internet Libertarians I've run into. I love Weld, as a Bay Stater, but I've seen a lot of people call him a fraud and describe his run as quixotic.

I think everyone agrees that Johnson will win the Pres. nomination, I think the real fight will be for VP. I'm still betting on Weld getting it, but I think it'll be tight.

Interesting to see the Libertarian candidate for my district speak. I didn't even know there was a
non-Richie Neal option for MA-01.

463 needed for 50%. McCormick is the one getting dropped, and he only has 9 voters. Will more than half of those 9 transfer to Johnson? WHO'S EXCITED?

I'm very excited.

If there was no delegation in Oregon, this is the FINAL map for the first ballot:

That's correct according to my count.

Suspending the roll call! That ruins the fun.

What are they trying to change with the voting procedure specifically?

State delegates will not read their votes out loud, with only the secretary calling out the votes at the end.

Oh no! They're suspending the second ballot roll call by state! Sad

Really? What a waste of printed paper. Do these Libertarians really not care about the environment? Shame.

The delegates still voted on paper, they're just handing them into the secretary now instead of reading them.

When is the VP vote going to be?

After the 45-minute lunch break.

From the support during Johnson's acceptance speech, I think the media got it wrong on Weld. He's getting a pretty warm reception, at least based on the applause when Johnson is speaking for him.

I'm still pretty confident that Governor Weld will be the Veep.

I am as well.

Is the voting for VP going on yet?

No. They're letting the loosing candidates for president speak.

This party is a joke if they don't nominate Weld

Amen.

This video from Sharpe is weird, much like the rest of the anti-Johnson/anti-Weld candidates.

I liked Dearn. If Weld wasn't a candidate, she would probably be my choice.

Johnson's pitch for Weld is strong enough to sway enough delegates to win it, but the entire thing reeks of desperation.

Because he knows the delegates really don't want Weld.

But the delegates need Weld to make an impact on the race.

.978% away from the nomination. Coley dropping out and endorsing Sharpe.

I think Dearn, if she speaks on the floor, will endorse Weld. She seemed pro-Weld in her own speech.
