My proposed amendment. I changed "CJO" to "Elections Officer," and edited a bit for style.
The amendment looks good

I'll take that to mean that it has been ADOPTED. In addition, the earlier elections amendment has been ADOPTED.

Does anyone have any questions about the resolution? Comments? Concerns?

May I pose questions to the Applicant, or should I wait until the application deadline has passed.

Questions for Altsomn Stmarken

1.What do you see as the biggest issue facing Atlasia? The Western Region?, and what solutions do you have to solve these issues?

2. How will you work to create a more Bipartisan atmosphere in the Senate? and Atlasia at large?

3. What makes you the most qualified candidate for this Senate seat?

I apologize for not being around, I've been way too depressed and angry at the same time over my university strike.

I'll vote AYE.

Fine by me.

I nominate "Fremont" for the name of the Region.

We need to appoint someone to the Senate soon. I motion for a 12 hour question period where committee men can ask questions to the applicants. Then immediately following that a 24 hour vote where committee men will vote on which applicant to appoint to the senate.

Ask questions as you will, folks. When debate dies down, we can go to a final vote.

The candidates are Senator Altsomn Stmarken (JoMCaR) and Pacific Justice Wulfric.

I'd suggest we wait until tonight before moving to a vote, just to give some of the committeemen a bit of extra time to ask questions. Moving it up a few hours won't change the timing very much, and we'll still have somebody seated within the next few days.

Good evening, members of the Western Regional Committee. I'm Altsomn Stmarken, and I seek the Western Senate Seat. I'd like to answer some questions that were sent to me via PM.

1.What do you see as the biggest issue facing Atlasia? The Western Region?, and what solutions do you have to solve these issues?

As a recently renewed country, what Atlasia needs the most is vision. A vision of what we want it to be for the time that comes. The big majority of us agreed that we needed a big renewal. Now that we have that renewal, we need to build this new country. And what we need to do is to work together to decide which country we want to live in.

2. How will you work to create a more Bipartisan atmosphere in the Senate? and Atlasia at large?

I was a member of the Senate for the last month, and during all this time we achived a great deal of work between a Labor President and a Federalist Senate. When goals are common, there's no place for partisanship. And now, we all have the same goal again. I'd remind that to all my fellow Atlasians, specially those in power.

3. What makes you the most qualified candidate for this Senate seat?

The decision to always do what is best for all Atlasians, my experience and the right vision for our country.

Although I can't speak for AZ, I'm satisfied with these answers.

While I think either of the candidates would be great, JoMCaR brings some Federal experience to the table that Wulfric lacks. I intend to cast my vote for him.
