Question: Which statement best describes Trump?
#1
Donald Trump's candidacy is a publicity stunt gotten out of hand.  He never expected it to go this far and is making it up as he goes

#2
You should take Trump at face value.  He means what he says, and intended all along to win on his original message

#3
Trump is running a long con.  The hate-filled clown was just an act to win the GOP, and to manipulate the media into publicizing his general election run for free

#2 is obviously wrong, and #3 gives him too much credit, like he's this master strategist or the joker from the dark knight with all these convoluted plans

#2 is objectively a false statement. #1 is true, but #3 provides some accurate color and insight for how he behaved after it had gotten out of hand, even if it doesn't really describe his motivations. Voted #1.

I think that the idea that Trump was not serious in all of this is taking Trump-Denying to a new level.

Without a doubt #1. Reality "star" takes on real world and makes a reality show out of it! And since Reality is by definition superficial, he is struggling with the current situation.
