I kind of like Weld - he's obviously not pandering to the wacky libertarians. I'm beyond his brand of politics obviously but I still think he's an honest guy who has genuine beliefs. He was also a fairly good Governor of Massachusetts.

It's kind of funny how he resigned in order to become Ambassador to Mexico, just to get his nomination killed by Jesse Helms.

Was referring to class/affluence, making fun of some of our "conservatives" here who have recently taken a page out of Ralph Nader's playbook and started to bitterly demonize "elites," an activity I believe to be antithetical to conservatism.
