I'd say  Dave Freudenthal/Christine Gregoire - Taft would lose Ohio!

I'd think that Bredesen is the most popular Dem governor though.

Freudenthal would win easily, since he's from a red state. Hoeven's from his home turf anyway. Plus Taft would actually cost Hoeven Ohio.

Here's a matchup where I could live with either candidate winning. Freudenthal's pretty conservative from what I hear (how else could he get 67% in Wyoming?)

I think Jake explained it well enough.  But he's also painfully inept at his job, and is just an all-round bad egg too.  Everything he touches turns to sh**t.
