I'm pretty certain that the Labor Party is more than 50% gay/queer, so I don't see how jumping ship to an overtly pro-LGBT party (which you did on your own accord) is making your point - whatever that may be.

The Atlasian right has always taken a centrist approach to social issues, at least as far back as I can remember.  The socon wing of the Federalist Party is simply too small to have much of an impact on politics here.  Indeed, I doubt Leinad would be president today had he not embraced some socially liberal positions, such as that with respect to the "bathroom" controversy.

If you want to support Labor and vote for our candidates, by all means do so.  I'm just interested in hearing your rationale for joining a party whose platform is diametrically opposed to what you believe, and as far as it shall exist, always will be.

Encke needs to read a little bit more closely. Again, I am not calling to leave the Atlas, but rather the South.

As was made clear in #SouthernChat, such actions are still unlawful under both the Southern and federal constitutions.  You have no legal authority to nullify existing laws and establish a new legislature, as the state of Texas does not exist separately from the boundaries of the Southern Region, as enshrined by the Fourth Constitution.

I am especially impressed by the performance of fhtagn. 2 months ago our now disgraced Ex-governor Never again, sneered that she would never be able to get elected as a federalist. Well, tonigt, ladies and gentlemen. She not only got elected but she easily topped all the Laborites save Peebs.

Once again, she has proven NeverAgain wrong. She proved him wrong as a labor Speaker. She proved him wrong in May as a Federalist delegate and again as a Federalist Speaker. Now she is a Federalist Representative. I am very happy to see her moving up to the big house where she belongs.

But we will miss her here in the South.
