The Southern wing, thinking that any democrat can defeat Hoover at this point, manage to garner a lot of support for the two most segregationist candidates in the convention. Will Hoover manage to convince people that he will fix the economy? Will people decide that extreme racism is better than a terrible economy and vice versa? Discussion with maps is optional, but I would prefer it.
