Why do strippers get breast implants?

It's funny I only thought of this now instead of when I was going to strip clubs all the time.

But I looked it up and breast implant operations on average cost about $4000. Even if you got a "cheap" one at $3000, that'd take a hell of a time to pay off. If you're getting $20 lapdances and paying a 30% house fee, that's about $14 per dance, that's over 214 dances it'd take to pay it off. And even then, it's only worth it if someone will get a dance BECAUSE of the implants but wouldn't otherwise, and that's not even taking into account anti-fake boobs people who are turned off. Put simply it'd be a very long time, if ever, before breast implants became profitable.

But eh, plenty of people have made far more expensive and just as silly investments.

This is a good question, actually. Never understood the appeal of breast implants. I guess women who get them do it for their self esteem, but I think they are pretty gross.

Anyway, strippers get breasts for the same reasons that other women do:  to make themselves more attractive to the male of the species.  I read somewhere that the transition to bipedalism long ago brought with it some problems.  Birthing was a big issue, of course, because of the relatively narrow exit slit compared to facultative and obligatory quadrupeds.  Another was attracting a mate.  Dogs and cats and monkeys approach from behind.  They see that red, round rump and know it means getting some stank, but because we walk erect, if you'll permit me to use the word, we don't approach from behind in order to mount the female.  Two humans generally face each other head on when copulating.  It has been postulated that the full, round breasts, regardless of the season, remind the male of the full, round buttocks that would normally be facing the male while copulating, but since we do it face to face we don't see gluteous muscles, we only see abdomen and chest.  Growing a nice full pair will make you more successful, in the sense of sexual selection.  Of course, if you're only getting 14 dollars per hour, you probably have bigger problems than getting laid, but some deeply-engrained instincts are hard to control.  You can take the stripper out of the country, you can never really take the country out of the stripper.
