According to an article in SFGate, Kathryn Steinle’s parents have filed a lawsuit in federal court in San Francisco over their daughter’s shooting death on Pier 14 in July of 2015.

I hope the City and County of San Francisco end up paying a very large price. Is there any question that the local government in SF saw fit to thumb its nose at the Federal laws on the books? Feel free to discuss...
