For some reason I was convinced this was a 48 hour vote, naturally the vote is clear with both myself and Truman being re-elected

We're going to move onto the party by-Laws after some delay, and hopefully can update/pass some reforms to get the party to be more efficient and clear up concerns from the Primary election. I'll publish the current by-laws below

I propose the following amendments, this is done to prevent trolls or potential political plants from trying to take over the party or party convention.

I'm happy with the general tone of this- there should be some sort of safeguard in place

Not sure if this convention is still going, but we might have a troll in the dungeon on our hands.

Hello, ascott:

I cannot speak for the majority of the laborites, nor can I speak for the Laborite party. I do not wish to participate in the forum as anything other than what I am, a citizen of Atlasia.

Nor, do I want to make the case to the Labor party as to what their bylaws ought to be.

All I can say is that, as a citizen of Atlasia, I would like the opportunity to remain a member of this party and to continue to vote in line with the directives of the Labor party.

Is that acceptable to the party as a whole? I would be another downballot vote for you in subsequent elections. Nothing more nor less. I do not seek to run for office, nor do I seek to change any of the party bylaws.

Ascott calls me a troll, rather I am a citizen who has been poorly served by his Federalist representative in congress. Surely there is room for someone such as me.

Anyhoo, whatever you decide is your decision and I will respect whatever you choose.

Now, I'll scoot off and leave you folks to your convention.

Shouldn't we have a Northern Governor's primary between Flo and Dkrol in the next couple of days?

I'll write to both members, and set up a separate thread for the primary. As per only North voters will be able to vote

I am a little wary about Mr. 1184AZ's suggestions. I think that a natural flow of folks between regions is acceptable and even desirable. But to entice people to move around for political purposes? My friend that's carpetbagging, and I don't think that the locals in the various regions would take too kindly to such devious practices.

Okay- I've spend ages trying to get the various party by-laws drafted up on a word document, and have managed to draw it all together- I've got a number of changes in mind, and apologies that it took so long. I'm going to change the convention order of business to allow us to nominate the location of our fall convention.

Members have 48 hours to nominate the location of the next convention, which must be in the North (as this was in Freemont, and the convention before was in Georgia)
