We've got the gorgeous Alki Beach to relax on, a city with a glorious $15 dollar minimum wage  and Mount Rainer looking over us. It's time for Atlasia largest, greatest and proudest political party to come together in solidarity. This is the time to forge a new Atlasia

Warning to all delegates, pending legal advice (Me looking through the party By-Laws) the party is going to have a Primary Election for the upcoming Senate election in the North this weekend-we'll be running on a tight time frame and I'm unsure if the entire party will vote or just those in the Northeast. Watch this space for an update

Okay Conference- first order of business

We're holding a Primary for the Northern Senate Elections that are going to be held next week- for two seats. As they're are three labor candidates- Blair, Evergreen and Smith we're going to be having a primary.

They'll be a 24 hours campaign period as agreed by the campaigns, followed by a 48 hour voting period starting tomorrow. Only voters from the North, and registered as Labor can vote. Members who have changed region after this post will not be able to vote in the primary

As per the rules I set out above a 48 hour voting period will now begin for the two candidates to represent the Labor Party in the North Senate Elections.

After the brief mix up, and much pouring over the party by-Laws I'm proud to announce that...

Both myself, and Smith have won the primary to represent Labor in the North. I'll post the results from the ballot calculator below

Sorry for the delay conference; having to shoe-horn this in quickly

Due to the short time before the upcoming elections I've been asked to have a vote on who the Labor Party will endorse in the Northeast Gubernatorial Election. Voting will last 24 hours.

1.) KingPoleon
2.) RGN
3.) Abstain

I reject the motion from Evergreen- not out of disagreement but because there's others matters that I hope to come first- before we can move on to the By-Laws (which I hope to revise) and Platform we need to have a renewed vote for Chair and Vice Chair- who will oversee the conference

As there is no Labor candidate Kingpoleon has the endorsement of the Labor Party for the North Governors Election

We now move onto the formal vote for Chair and Vice-Chair. Candidates have 24 hours to be nominated by at least two members of the party

As Truman is still on LOA I'll leave him so time to accept the nomination

As there are no candidates standing for chair, as long as there are no objections I'm willing to let Conference unanimously vote for it

For some reason I was convinced this was a 48 hour vote, naturally the vote is clear with both myself and Truman being re-elected

We're going to move onto the party by-Laws after some delay, and hopefully can update/pass some reforms to get the party to be more efficient and clear up concerns from the Primary election. I'll publish the current by-laws below

I'm happy with the general tone of this- there should be some sort of safeguard in place

I'll write to both members, and set up a separate thread for the primary. As per only North voters will be able to vote
