Timeline under Marco Rubio's presidency (2021)

January 20th : Marco Rubio is inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States of America, becoming the first Hispanic occupying this office.

January 21st : President Rubio repeals Obamacare and replaces it by a better healthcare law. He approves the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline from Alberta to Houston, Texas, which, according to the experts, would create approximately 80 000 jobs. He cuts taxes and regulations for all Americans and business owners in addition of reducing considerably the cost of doing business in the United States.

January 26th : The Congress votes in favor of sending ground troops in Syria and Iraq to destroy ISIS and topple Bachar al-Assad. The United States sends 20 000 troops there, while Canada sends 5000 troops, the European Union sends over 30 000 troops. The Arabian allies of the United States such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc. deploy 15 000 troops and Australia 12 000.

February 6th-April 3rd : Thanks to it's powerful military arsenal, the military coalition in Syria easily defeats the ISIS's troops that are forced to step back and to divide their forces to defend their final positions, thus splitting and weakening their defenses. Bombarded from every side, the terrorists are forced to surrender. The CIA located Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's refuge in a caved mountain close to Mossul. The United States and Iraq sent 30 000 troops to surround the mountain and assault the terrorist base. Surrounded, every terrorist, including al-Baghdadi, is killed by the allied troops. Meanwhile, thanks to the military support of the United States and their allies, the Syrian rebels defeated the Assad regime's armed forces and took Damascus, thus pushing Assad to suicide. Peace and stability are progressing in Syria and Iraq. The United States and their NATO allies are leading missions to reconstruct Syria and to train new Syrian armed forces in order to reinforce security, stability, democracy and justice in Syria. Assad's defeat forced Russia to stop invading Turkey to clear the way for the construction of a pipeline from Russia to Syria.

February 18th : President Rubio signs into law the Education Opportunity Act that promotes school choice, which will cost families, including immigrant families living paycheck to paycheck, less and produce higher outcomes compared to public education. It will grant parents the power to orientate their children out of poorly-performing schools assigned by zip code and look for better education elsewhere. It will expand opportunities for low-income students—especially minorities—to attend high-quality schools that would otherwise be accessible only to higher-income families, thus increasing their chances of success and of entry into the workforce.

February 27th : During a trip in Latin America, President Marco Rubio ratifies a free-trade treaty with Latin America, which reduces tariffs and increases imports and exports between the United States and Latin America.

March 12th : In order to stop Russian agression in Ukraine, the United States and their NATO allies decided to restore diplomatic and economic sanctions against Russia, to reinforce their military presence on the Black Sea and to train and arm the Ukrainian army, which helped it to vanquish the pro-Russian rebellion in Eastern Ukraine. As another form of sanction the United States relaunched oil exploration, drilling and exploitation on the Cukchi Sea and the Bering Sea before the Russians. Sanctions reinforced Russia's inflation. With NATO's navies surrounding Crimea and the Ukrainian army starting a military offensive on this peninsula forced Russia to give territory back to Ukraine, which restored this country's territorial integrity.

April 3rd : After North Korea orchestrated new military exercises near the demilitarized zone, the United States and their allies around the Pacific decided to reinforce their military presence on the Pacific and to form the Pacific Treaty Organization (PTO), a intergovernmental military organization similar to NATO but this time circling the Pacific Ocean and including the USA and their allies around the Pacific (especially Canada, Peru, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Japan and South Korea) in order to stop Pyongyang from attacking South Korea or any of it's neighbors. At the same occasion, the PTO established an anti-missile shield to destroy any nuclear missile shot by North Korea.

May 16th : In order to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon and from threatening Israel and to destroy radical Islamic terrorism in the Middle East, President Rubio and it's allies in South Asia (India, Pakistan and Afghanistan) and in the Middle East (Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Yemen) formed the Asia's Stability Alliance (ASA), which increased pressure on Tehran. If Iran ever crosses the red line and gets nucleat weapons, the ASA would orchestrate airstrikes to destroy all Iranian nuclear facilities. This alliance's creation eventually forced the Iranian government to use it's nuclear energies for the development of Iran's economy instead of it's military nuclear's program. Speculations about an Indian membership in the TPP are raised.

August 21st : Thanks to the military collaboration between ASA's members and multiplied military operations in Afghanistan and Pakistan, Al Qaida and ISIS are eradicated in these two countries. Ayman al-Zawahiri is killed by U.S. Marines in North Waziristan.

How does little Marco win Washington state?

By selecting Nikki Haley as his running mate, Rubio brought double diversity in the Republican presidential ticket formed by a Hispanic (Rubio himself) and an Asian-American (Haley). 11,2 % of the Washington state's population is Hispanic and 7,2 % of this state's population is Asian-American, so I believe a Hispanic and an Asian-American can help the Republican Party winning Hispanic and Asian-American votes in the Washington state. In addition, more people in the Washington state might be worried than ever before about the Pacific's stability since this state, just like North Korea on the other side of this ocean, is bordering the Pacific.

That is the dumbest theory I ever heard. Asians don't vote Republican, because republicans including the token candidates you mentioned cater to fundamentalist christians, and most asians are either atheists/irreligious or otherwise non-christians, it's the same situation as with Jews. It's Republican hawkishness against Asian countries that also additionally turns off Asians, that also goes for Latin American interventionism which turns off Latinos, so those points are negatives for Asians and Latinos, not positives. Besides, Hispanic Republicans run in California/the West coast all the time, and get defeated by White Democrats.
