How does little Marco win Washington state?

By selecting Nikki Haley as his running mate, Rubio brought double diversity in the Republican presidential ticket formed by a Hispanic (Rubio himself) and an Asian-American (Haley). 11,2 % of the Washington state's population is Hispanic and 7,2 % of this state's population is Asian-American, so I believe a Hispanic and an Asian-American can help the Republican Party winning Hispanic and Asian-American votes in the Washington state. In addition, more people in the Washington state might be worried than ever before about the Pacific's stability since this state, just like North Korea on the other side of this ocean, is bordering the Pacific.

That is the dumbest theory I ever heard. Asians don't vote Republican, because republicans including the token candidates you mentioned cater to fundamentalist christians, and most asians are either atheists/irreligious or otherwise non-christians, it's the same situation as with Jews. It's Republican hawkishness against Asian countries that also additionally turns off Asians, that also goes for Latin American interventionism which turns off Latinos, so those points are negatives for Asians and Latinos, not positives. Besides, Hispanic Republicans run in California/the West coast all the time, and get defeated by White Democrats.
