"My fellow Northeasterners, I stand before you a man like yourselves. A man sick and tired of what used to be the status quo. However, I now recognize that in roughly a month under my leadership as Speaker, with the help of a greatly active Assembly, the Assembly has brought forth four bills, elected a Speaker, and began work on many projects.

"I promised a security force, and I have delivered. I called for this force before anyone else and found the issue immediately controversial. Within a week, a terrorist attack occurred, and my bill passed with minimal opposition. Fear is not first in our fair region. Strength does. I ask that you, the common people, recognize my work with a vote cast not for myself, but for the work I have done and will do.

"Approve of me once more, I beg you. You will not be disappointed. I intend to continue pestering and annoying everyone who I can to make our government work and to make our government active. We cannot afford a return to minimal activities. Our government works. Our politicians are active. Our Constitution is strong.

"I stand against the political extremism of Atlasia and the ideological extremism abroad and at home. I tell you, Muslim or Christian, black or white, rich or poor - we have nothing to fear but fear itself! I ask you remain calm and peaceful. Where you see riots, I know you, the good citizens, will quiet it. Step between rioters and police officers, and offer not violence, but peace.

"We must all either stand united and maybe hang united, or most assuredly we shall all hang separately. There is a buck of division, fear, and bigotry before us. Elect me, and the buck stops here! The Northeast is a big tent, but nowhere in it do we have room for an inch of bigotry or hate of any kind. Today, we stand united. Let it remain so tomorrow, and after the elections!

Endorsed for a high preference! Not sure how high as I don't know who else is running as of yet, but the point remains that the Northeast would be making a terrible mistake to not renew your time in government this election. Few people have taken such an active interest in Atlasia as you, and that's not something we can afford to lose in this transitional period.

Endorsements:

Governor Leinad(F-South)
Governor Ted Bessell(F-Pacific)
Senate Speaker Kent(F-Northeast)

Senator Truman(L-Midwest)

I thank all three upstanding Atlasians for their endorsements, and I especially thank Governor Leinad for his praise. Few people are more beloved than Governor Bessell, and few are respected more than either Governor Leinad or Senator Truman. These endorsements are those representative of all of Atlasia and of all parties.

As for Speaker Kent, I can personally testify to the greatness of him. I have known the Speaker for nearly two years now. He is one of the few people I can honestly call my friend. His endorsement means a great deal to me personally.

"I'm proud to announce that I am the only candidate currently running with any public endorsements. I believe this moment is the people's moment. Our liberty is secure. Our security is liberty-minded. Our region has shown itself strong in the face of hardship. Our people have shown we will not be bigoted and wrathful. We are not overly arrogant. We are rightly a proud region.

"I'm proud of our Governor, our Lieutenant Governor, our entire Cabinet, and our Assembly. This month, you, the people, will tell me if you are proud of me. I believe my time as Speaker has shown itself to be open to discussion. I have noted in the Assembly my belief of the SOAP and how it is to be adhered to. I am not afraid of anyone bringing me to court over this. I believe the court will decide what it will decide.

"I want a healthy and open debate. If you disagree with my policy or my way of being Speaker, tell me. If you have a grievance against me or a disagreement with me you can state without emotion, do so. If you feel a personal attack or a personal nature is necessary, write me. I do not intend to reveal someone disagrees with me in the hopes of any popularity I have crushing them.

"This election will be a matter of the past, the present, and the future. Look at what I've said I would do and have done in the past, and what I say in the present I will do in the future. Look at the past before me. If you believe that is better, cast your ballot against me. If you like someone else better, vote for them. I do not want to be a winner because of strategical voting. I want to win because I am a good candidate. God bless you, God bless the Northeast, and God bless Atlasia!"

I may not always agree with you on everything, but you have been an active and enthusiastic part of the game, and we need more people like you. You have my endorsement, friend.

"My fellow Northeasterners, I have fought for you for three months now. I have fought the good fight. I have finished one race, I hope. I have the most activity of any Assemblyman, and I intend to be the most active Governor. I announce, here and now, that I am running to fight for what I first promised. It is now before you, the people, to act.

"You have supported me twice now for the Assembly. I ask for the support of every Atlasian opposed to extremism of every kind. I will not join a party as your Governor. It is time for a new kind of leader. I am not beholden to any party. I endorse who I wish, regardless of party. I stand strongly for reform and against the tyranny and dishonesty of those who fear the way of human progress.

"No more, I say! We think and feel all too little. Our options are few, our doors are closed. I know only that my door is open. They will tell you I cannot win - that voting for an independent is a wasted vote. Who are they? I will not use the term to fear monger and divide. "They" are the tyrants inside each and every one of you and me.

"I do not have tyrants telling me who to endorse, who to vote for, how to vote, how to act, how to think, how to feel. I do not have tyrants restricting a constant flow of ideas. I do not use an outline for my speeches - I say and type as I think. I do not regulate the free flow of thought. I am not bound or pledged or promised to anyone or anything. No special interest controls me.

"As for my ideas, what will I do? I will stay constantly informed of the economic future, asking for more regulations when the economy's growth will naturally slow and less regulations when it will naturally increase. I have no base to appeal to, but I have no ceiling. In terms of elections, there is not a level I cannot sink beneath and there is not a ceiling I cannot break..

"My fellow Northeasterners, it is for you to judge. I ask for a fair and open debate moderator, if any of you reading this will agree to host it. Any debate will determine the strength of character of myself and anyone opposing me. You agreed I won the last debate I was in, and I am not afraid of any new one. I am not afraid of anything in this election.

"We can either stand united, or fall divided. That is your choice, for democracy is the theory that you the people know what it is you want and deserve it, for better or worse. And with that, I do not say goodbye, but see you soon. Thank you for coming. God bless you, God bless the Northeast, and God bless Atlasia!"

Hope this happens a lot.

I'm the only non-Federalist running who's never been on trial for treason.

"Our new Constitution offers us a chance. This is a chance for a new era for Atlasia. No man at the ConCon has failed his part or shirked his duty. Potus, Leinad, Trumam, Simfan, I, and so many others helped write our new SCOTUS system. My fellow Atlasians, our long national nightmare is over.  Our Constitution will work; our great republic will be a government of laws and not of men.  Here the people rule. We, the people and elected officials of Atlasia, have fought the good fight. We have ran the good race. Now, therefore, help us finish it. This is and will be a republic of, for, and by the people, but to ensure we continue to be so, I ask that you vote for the Constitution.

"If we finish this race, if we end this fight, then let us have won the good fight, finished first in the good race. Furthermore, let every citizen know, whether you wish the Constitution well or ill, that I and my fellow supporters of the Constitution shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of our new Constitution."

Blair for President: Let's Fight for Atlasia

The Blair Plan: 10 Steps to Save Atlasia

1. A Crisis System: A new crisis system where players actions and decisions will have real consequences and were Real Time decisions will be needed for major crisis's like terrorist attacks, piracy, international diplomacy, recessions and domestic incidents.

2. A more powerful Cabinet: Cabinets in the past have been side shows. I'd want players of all parties in Cabinet roles that are just as important as legislators. They'd deal with their own crisis, have clear briefs and will be expected to pull their weight.

3. A Game Audit: If elected President I want to find out what every player thinks about Atlasia, and our entire game-play system. We had the ConCon to change our political structure but we need to change the way we actually participate.

4. A Good Governance Group: I'd set up an independent group, chaired by a player from a different party to actively asses, and grade the performance of all elected officials in the Federal Government and Congress.

5. A More Powerful GM: For too long the GM has lacked powers, meaning even when they want to be active they're limited. I'd give the GM powers to run crisis situations, model public opinion and make the game more responsive.

6. A Recruitment Surge: Just as I did as Labor Chair I'd bring more people not only into the game, but also into holding office. Naturally we have a high turn over rate. For this reason I will use the Office of the Presidency, and all my energy into bringing people into the game, and back into it.

7. A Leading President: As President I'd by the leading light of activity, from State of the Union Speeches, to foreign trips and submitting my own legislative agenda. Like President Leinad if I'm not active enough after 50 days in office I will not run for a second term.

8. A New role for the VP: We've had great people hold the office of VP but more needs to be done to put them at the centre stage. I'd give my Vice-President three clear policy areas, a seat at the Cabinet and a leading diplomatic role.

9. A New Media: I'd help set up a new media  wing of Atlasia where stories, gossip and genuine stories could be written. Newspapers in the past where often just for GM's or parties. We need a true independence press to boost activity.

10. A bit of Fight We're electing so much more than a President this October. We're picking the person who can help shape the Nation. We need a bold plan to fix the game- now is not the the time for old solutions, and now is not the time to vote for business as usual. Now is the time to fight.

"Senator Blair, if you're reading this, frankly, I'm impressed. Let me encourage you: keep firing the volleys of words that mean more than their face value; keep speaking truth to power without fear, with your courage; keep fighting the good fight for not only Atlasia, but for Atlasians. Your plan is impressive, your ideas are great, your preparations ought not to fail.

"Therefore, it is not to you I speak now. Atlasians, if you're reading this, listen to me. Regardless of your partisan affiliation, your past loyalties, your friendships, your perceptions of popularity: Senator Blair is the man ought to be our next President. I have never been more proud, more honored, more grateful than I am now, to call myself not a friend of Blair, but a member of Team Blair.

"It is not for my sake, nor for his sake, that I say this, but for the sake of activity and the sake of every activity. I am proud, I am honored, I am grateful, to officially be able to say what I have wished to say for many months now: I officially endorse Senator Blair to be the next President, not of Atlasia, but of, for, and by Atlasians."
