To continue on the approval voting question, how would you have voted with IRV?

Here's me:

1-Kerry
2-Brown
3-Cobb
4-Badnarik
5-Peroutka
6-Bush
7-Nader

Of course I would cut off after #4 or #3 if I didn't rank every candidate.

Bush

I wouldn't do any of the ranking idiocy, and a totalitarian state is far preferable to any form of IRV.

A18 says: I'll take a Hitler/Stalin ticket over whoever IRV elects.

Hitler/Stalin probably won't win unless there's IRV

Do you know why he lists Alaska as his homestate?  I know he makes Alaskan art, but he actually lives on Vashon Island, Washington, just a short ferry ride across the bay from here.  That's always made me wonder.

As for me:
1. Michael Badnarik (L-TX)
2. John Kerry (D-MA)
3. George W. Bush (R-TX)
4. Ralph Nader (I-CA)
5. David Cobb (G-TX)
6. Michael Peroutka (C-MD)
7. I can't really tell the difference between any of the socialist candidates.

My first and second preferences may have been switched.  Back then they most certainly would have been, since I was rather liberal. I may have even had Cobb up there.

3.David Cobb

I guess.  2 and 3 don't appeal to me much.

Oh, really?  I'm just going off of the constitution party's platform.  The main reason I put him first is I thought he was a bit more moderate than Badnarik on economics and illegal immigration.  If he's as right as you say I'd guess I'd have Nader first.

Using only the candidates on the Wisconsin ballot:

1. David Cobb (G)
2. Walt Brown (Soc)
3. John Kerry (D)
4. James Harris (SWP)
5. Michael Badnarik (L)
6. Ralph Nader (I)
7. George W. Bush (R)

Michael Peroutka was not on the ballot in WI had he been he would have gone after Bush.
