And it's only getting higher. I think at this point, it's pretty widely known, which isn't great news for Republicans if their most realistic and ambitious win scenarios always end up involving a bare win of between 270 - 290 electoral votes. They've fallen quite far from their days of constant 400+ EV landslides.

After this whole Trump business, I wonder just how long it's going to take them to finally begin adapting to a highly diverse & rapidly changing electorate. They are going to be in serious trouble if they continue losing the 18-29 yr old vote by such gaping margins.

52% with a good showing for third parties, but no party in particular. So maybe trump gets around 44-45%.

With the map the way it is, I don't see how that makes sense. If anything, I think Clinton losing the popular vote but winning the electoral college is far more likely, but both scenarios being incredibly unlikely.

That may be enough to win.  It is not out of the question that 10% of the voters will vote 3rd party this year.
