Bremain (Internationalist), but give Britain (and the other EU states) more autonomy.

Bremain (not a fan of Tory scum/UKIP et al)

The (democratically elected) Tory government is backing a Remain vote.

Ironically, the EU is in many ways UKIP-esque - inward-looking, authoritarian etc.

Brexit, I'm extremely europhile, so the UK needs to go because they will continue to troll the European Union otherwise.

There always was a strong anti-European wing in the Tory Party.

Bremain (Internationalist), but give Britain (and the other EU states) more autonomy.

I would be fine with the European Union if the member states gained more autonomy and it reverted to being more of a trading zone/economic union. But that's not going to happen, so I support Brexit.

This is essentially my reasoning for being in favor of Brexit. In addition to some of my positions on how the refugee crisis is being handled.

Would that include getting rid of the Euro?

Monetary policy is not my specialty. Any answer I could give on the merits or demerits of the Euro would be wildly uninformed.

Doesn't a common currency encourage trade?

In one sense. But when it sends the economies of certain member-states into the gutter, trade becomes a lesser concern  (or really, the cause of concern).

Bremain (R)

I'm tired of campaigns based on xenophobia and lies - and that seems to be all that the Brexit folks can come up with.  I also think that Brexit would give aid and comfort to Scottish nationalists and violates the spirit of the effort to keep the UK itself together.
