Five times:

1900: Bryan/Roosevelt (Teddy is more interesting)
1912: Wilson/Johnson (Johnson is more progressive than Marshall)
1932: Roosevelt/Curtis (Love FDR, Garner was a southern racist)
1936: Roosevelt/Knox (see 1932)
1948: Truman/Warren (Warren is a better choice though Barkley wasn't bad)
