The rank and file will stay unified. They only care about the letter after his name and Hillary hatred.

Great! I was ashamed to be voting for the same guy as this pair of losers in the Senate.

I guess Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio's spine grew back.

Good for them!

The subject line of this thread is wrong on both counts.  Graham never endorsed Trump in the first place.  The claim that he did was made by a single Trump supporter who offered no evidence:

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=237250.msg5081873#msg5081873

Graham himself cleaned up the story by talking to CNN about it a few days later.

As for Rubio, he hasn’t recanted his support for Trump.  In the Roll Call story that the Washington Examiner quotes, he doesn’t say anything about not supporting Trump anymore.  However, he has flip-flopped on whether he would give a speech at the RNC in support of Trump.  He’s now saying that if he’s invited to speak at the RNC, he’ll use it to “communicate the things I believe in” rather than speak in favor of someone else.

Newsmax has the video of Rubio in an interview with a Florida TV station earlier today:

http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/marco-rubio-donald-trump-judge-attacks/2016/06/06/id/732563/

He says that he's not retracting his endorsement of Trump, but he pretty much frames it as "Trump is bad, but Hillary Clinton is worse" and "I made a pledge to support the nominee, so I'm stuck".  (Those are paraphrases, not direct quotes.  Watch the video to get the full context.)

He also basically says "I told you so" about how bad a nominee Trump would be:

Glad to hear that Graham never actually endorsed Trump.  I was a low-information Graham fanboy and thought he had, and when I saw this thread I thought "thank god, he grew his balls back" as I had dropped my Graham shilling since I heard he endorsed Trump.  I guess I'm back on team Graham for good now.

Yep, what Morden says.

I think the Graham stuff came because he apparently had a friendly call with Trump when he officially clinched the nomination (something he mentioned) which led some news outlets to wrongly interpret it as him softening his stance, when as he later said, "nothing had changed".

Rubio is just a spineless git.

Lindsey Graham is about to quickly replace Lisa Murkowski as my favorite Republican Senator.

I wonder if he's going to retire in 2020 and maybe that explains why he's going rogue so much.

Graham isn't going rogue. He endorsed Jeb Bush's flaming trainwreck of a campaign before the SC primary, his home state of all places. Republicans are now making bets on what kind of party the GOP will be after the election, and Graham is clearly betting against Trump.

Is Trump THAT bad?  If you read the quotes some of these folks calling Trump a racist, how they don't want his finger on the button, etc., it begs the question as to how Trump can really be worse than Hillary if these guys are telling the truth.

Trump seems to me to be the anti-Graham in many respects.  I'd love to see what a Graham endorsement would have looked like if it ever had a chance to happen.

Did Rubio actually recant? I just recall him saying it was 'very dissapointing'.

He didn't. The OP made a mistake. He just said that he wouldn't speak for him, but that he would still vote for him, because he's a lesser evil compared to Hillary.
