You could easily argue a good number of politicians in elected office are racists, depending upon how I define racism. No, I'm not arguing the President is a racist - I'm saying you can.

Um... I don't know that I exactly disagree. Obama put ads out in the 2008 primaries highlighting his background in states with big populations of African-Americans. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure a good number of Atlasans have called affirmative action a racist policy. All Lee Zeldin's doing is trying to keep from getting on Trump's bad side, which I can't blame him for.
