Hillary's speech had more energy and excitement and enthusiasm than Trump's speech! Off the cuff, no teleprompter, genuinely excited and joyous.

Trump's was awful. Off a teleprompter, poorly read. Overscripted. Faked and forced.

Trump had the better speech.  Hillary had Fem-a-palooza.

I'm sorry, but when so much emphasis is placed on every group in America but mine (I'm a white male.), I find it hard to think that the candidate doing the talking and emphasizing has my welfare (and the welfare of those I support) in mind.

When white men (non-Hispanic, not Muslim/Jewish) are enslaved, not allowed to vote, called thugs or rapists that need to be deported or profiled as terrorists, then maybe people will talk about helping out and empowering white men.

I thought Hillary's speech was beautiful!

Trump has nothing to say that I want to hear. Didn't listen.

Welcome to the club of "outsiders". Now you know how the rest of us have felt while the white male has basked in its dominant glory all these years.

Neither was very good, but at least we're already used to Clinton's overscripting.

How many red avatar hacks even listened to Trump's speech before criticizing it? Be honest with yourselves.

I did listen to it. It was quite obvious he was reading off a teleprompter and didn't mean a word of anything he was saying, and was just taking the cue from his advisors and speechwriters who browbeated him into pacifying Ryan, McConnell, et al

I was not blown away by either speech, tbh.  Hillary needs to begin her pivot to the general NOW

It's an important historical milestone, especially if she goes on to win the Presidency. I don't think she should just ignore the significance of it.

It doesn't mean she doesn't care about white men. Our welfare will get the attention it deserves, which is proportionally less than the welfare of women and non-white men given the in-born advantages that come with being a white male in this country.

Both were fantastic, but I voted Hillary. You can't top a moment like that in American history. Very powerful. Awe-inspiring. And that beautiful pic with the young girl. Wow!

The video angered me though.

Noted Hillary supporter and Atlas red avatar hack Newt Gingrich, also called Hillary's speech "spectacular".

Is/was there any candidate with more energy than TRUMP?

The Donald is even more exciting than boring Hillary when he reads from the teleprompter.

Really? He sounded bored. When he said he would be a champion for Americans, his voice didn't really show much enthusiasm. A clear liar.

The TRUMP speech was designed to pacify the Republican establishment, not excite the voters.
It was only normal that it tanked.
Imagine forcing the late Robin Williams to do a show with only scripted jokes.
