2017-2019: Patrick Leahy (D-VT) (ret. 2022)
2019-2021: Thad Cochran (R-MS) (ret. 2020)
2021-2022: Chuck Grassley (R-IA)* (ret./d. 2022)
2022-2023: Richard Shelby (R-AL) (ret. 2022)
2023-202?: Patty Murray (D-WA) (ret. 2028)

*Dies awaiting retirement in 2022.

Dems retake the Senate in 2016, get clobbered in 2018, and Hillary loses to Ernst in 2020. This, of course, opens the door to the Democratic Domination of 2022 (think 1994.)
