Could Meg Whitman potentially be a #NeverTrump third party candidate? She's a billionaire businesswoman who could make a contrast against another billionaire businessman in the race... She could self fund, and she has political experience by being a high profile political donor and a former candidate for California Governor. Could anyone potentially see this happening?  I wouldn't be surprised if folks like Romney and Kristol potentially reach out to her about it after her comments about Trump this weekend.

Meg Whitman/Colin Powell would be a very tempting ticket, but I doubt I would end up supporting it.

No. She has no chance. Why should she waste time and money?

She did it once before in 2010.

I would happily vote for Meg Whitman, but she isn't going to run.

Also, being a candidate for governor doesn't count as "political experience."

She's apparently planning on supporting Clinton.

Republicans already had the choice of a female CEO of Hewlett Packard whose only prior experience was a failed election in California in 2010, and they said no (twice).

It's too late for a third party candidate to run.

It's too late for a third party candidate to run.

Actually most election law experts agree that if a third party candidate goes to the courts there is a good chance these deadlines to be declared unconstitutional.

Well, she's better than Carly Fiornia, but that's a very very low bar.

To ensure a Hillary landslide without having to endorse her?
