I'm not jumping up and down, and having a party.
It is, what it is.
Now, it's a matter of looking at both candidates, and deciding who can seriously and competently lead our nation for the next 4 years (and it's not the one acting like a clown).

Well, it's a hard question. I am extremely satisfied with one of the nominees, and the other scares the sh**t out of me. And since Donald Trump could become president, I am almost by default "not satisfied with the nominees" because he is one of them.

But I'm voting yes to give Hillary some love.

Trump is not my first choice.  But I am kind of glad that he will scale back the neocon influence and free trade dogma that has been too prominent in the GOP.
Trump vs. Clinton should be a great race.  Trump should win a 40 state landslide!

Was really gunning for Sanders Cruz. Still idly wishing for Biden-Trump.

I would have preferred virtually any other Republican. A non-Hillary Democrat might have been nice also.

I mean, I'm satisfied with Clinton, although I would have liked Biden, Kaine, or Obama 3.  I'm not satisfied with Trump but I don't particularly care as long as he loses.

Yes, but I'd be more satisfied if I knew Hillary would win. The prospect of Trump winning is unpleasant, as it would be for any R.

Yeah, I would have been more satisfied, I guess, with a Biden-Kasich election, where I wouldn't have been particular unhappy with either man winning.  Basically would have tuned the election out.

The fact that Trump can actually be President means I'm not only dissatisfied and downright scared for what could happen starting January 20, 2017.

I'm okay with Clinton, though there are certainly other Democrats I'd prefer. The possibility of Trump becoming president makes this election terrifying, though.

Hillary has her problems, but aside from Warren or Biden I don't think there are any pols in the Democratic party who would have been better than her, and even they would've had their faults (I'm not sure if Warren would be up to the job, and Biden would've united the party but is a gaffe machine and probably to Hillary's right anyway).

People forget that Hillary was considered "inevitable" originally not because of her strength or that the party was rigging the primary towards her, but because the Democratic bench for President is pretty much nothing. Coming into 2016, pre-Trump when many were expecting the Republicans to be favored, the only candidates talked about as having a chance at winning the general were Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Andrew Cuomo, John Hickenlooper, and maybe Kirsten Gillibrand or Elizabeth Warren if Hillary said no.

As for Trump, while I'm horrified that a man like Trump can still be guaranteed ~45% of the vote in this country, as a Democratic hack I could not have asked for a better Republican nominee short of Louie Gohmert.

As for Hillary, I'm not remotely satisfied, but I guess it could have been A LOT worse if she hadn't cleared the field to just her and Sanders, and the Evan Bayh and Joe Lieberman type characters came crawling out of the woodwork and somehow won.

Trump is an awful human being, but he is right on most of the issues, and I'm willing to back him. So yes, I'm satisfied.

Yes. I really like Hillary, of course. The chances of the Republicans nominating someone who isn't terrible in this day and age are infinitesimally low, so I'm not even going to bother considering that side of the equation. Though it was pretty fun seeing Trump destroy the party and the images of several of its "rising stars."

I don't agree with that at all.  There were plenty of potential presidential candidates who would have had as good a chance as anyone in a general election, who simply chose not to run because it was clear to them that they couldn't beat Hillary Clinton for the nomination.  I'm pretty much with Jonathan Bernstein on this:

I'm definitely satisfied with Hillary Clinton being the Democratic nominee. I truly and honestly believe she will make a great President. The only person I would like to see run against Trump more than her is barred by the Constitution. If President Obama could run for a third term, I have no doubt at all he would kick Trump's ass and I'd love to see it. I'm hopeful Hillary can do the same, but it's too early to say.

I wanted Biden but I'm am adult and in life you usually don't get your first choice. So I'm fine with Hillary.
