Has Trump commented yet?

FoxNews.com has:

BREAKING NEWS: 50 MURDERED, 53 WOUNDED IN POSSIBLE ACT OF ISLAMIC TERROR IN ORLANDO GAY CLUB; GUNMAN KILLED BY COPS
Shooter ID'd as Omar Mateen, 29, a US citizen with Afghan ties

CBSNews.com has:

50 dead, Islamic terrorism tie eyed in Orlando gay bar shooting

That is just crazy beyond words.

Let's spin the wheel.

It will have an effect:

1. It has an immediate effect on the voters of Florida;
2. When Trump open's his mouth, this issue will become an electoral punching bag pretty quickly.

It's interesting to see how each candidate deals with this event.

There first comments will signal to the voter's what they will most likely be like as a President.

Trump won't fire up, but he will comment and say something most likely along the lines of radical Islam.

We need more information about the shooter and his motives.

"Florida Sen. Bill Nelson later said that information from intelligence sources indicated there "appears to be a link to Islamic radicalism ... some kind of connection to ISIS."

Some of you guys are overthinking this.

To the typical "swing voter/undecided voter", this will be: "Wow, he's a Muslim! Muslims are bad! I knew it! TRUMP 2016!"

Obviously the left is going to spin it into homophobia or guns or wanting a steady hand as commander in chief, but nobody is insinuating Trump is going to win over the left.

I hope Ice is male...

But as Ljube and President Johnson said, the ISIS link now makes it a deliberate terrorist attack on home soil which will advantage Trump.

And to straighten out a page of crap against Trump, these were the Tweets:

That is a very normal response from both candidates.

Trump will spin it further, and given his previous policy statements, so he should.

But probably not within 72 hours. Other people will undoubtedly say it for him. This is the fearful attack he was warning against.

And as Hagrid also said, this will prelude more attacks as the election gets closer.

Undoubtedly.

Being a registered democrat is totally irrelevant.

When you are mentally ill and following ISIS, your political party is not significant.

It's a privelage to read Fuzzy, Virginia and TSA's reaction.

Sorry if i forgot any other Floridians.

It never strikes you on this forum that the poster's are real people on the ground living in the regions where these events are occuring.

A horrible tragedy that will undoubtedly be exploited by both sides of politics.

But for now, i will offer my thoughts and prayers for all Floridians, especially the family and friends of the victims.
