There's a right way and a wrong way to tax Americans.  Those earning higher incomes should be asked to help out more.  However, simply for being married or having kids is no reason to be taxed more when your family is likely in more need of assistance than those without children.  An increase in taxes on higher income earners helps fund school choices, food stamps, Medicare, Medicaid, healthcare, social security, our armed forces, and law enforcement.  Don't forget out debt too.

Tax Implementations:

Remove tax shelters for real estate investments.
Remove marriage tax.
Remove death tax for those with less than $600,000 property value.
Reduce windfall profit taxes to 22.5%.
Cut capital gains taxes nearly in half.
Make child tax credit permanent.
Eliminate corporate taxes for companies with shareholders to bring back jobs.
10% tax credit for married couples where both partners work.
Reduce taxes on dividends.

Tax Returns and Deductions:

Increase Home Owner Mortgage Deduction.
Provide low income housing tax credit to encourage multifamily housing.
No deductions for credit and debit card payments.
Allow for IRA tax deductions for deposits of $2,000 or more.
Require social security numbers for dependents over the age of 5.

Tax Brackets:

income < $64,600      15%
income < $195,000    28%
income < $217,000    33%
income > $217,000    50%

Employment Options:

Allow all workers to establish IRA's.
Expand employee stock ownership plans.
15% net interest exclusion with a $2,000 cap.
