Drink often -> cold fruit teas (w/ grass jelly)

Drink rarely -> black (cold w/ milk, hot w/o), thai (cold w/ milk), chrysanthemum (hot), ginger (hot very rarely), jasmine (hot)

Bad enough to remember -> anything hot w/ milk, anything not black w/ milk, peppermint, artichoke
---

I like hot teas with my food and cold teas as dessert. Most of the listed stuff is meh or forgettable.

Wonderful idea, but get those herbal teas/tisanes off this list. Tongue I'm British, but I adore Chinese tea and prefer it over South Asian tea.

1. Highly-oxidized Taiwanese oolongs
2. Pu-erh
3. Longjing (and other Zhejiang greens)
4. Genmaicha (one of few Japanese teas I like)
5. Darjeeling second flush

Oolongs are my workhorse teas, and drinking pu-erh is a bit of an occasion.

Earl grey, but mostly because I'm a silly nerd who likes to pretend I'm Jean-Luc Picard

Teas missing from that list include Ceylon, Russian Caravan, Gunpowder, English Breakfast and Lapsang Souchong.

But I vote Darjeeling anyway.

I'm a huge fan of Orange Spice, though I also like Oolong, Earl Grey, and plenty of cold fruit teas that I've had in Taiwan.

Chamomile. I like the Sleepytime brand, which has spearmint, lemongrass, hawthorn, and orange blossoms.

Most hot tea is pretty good in my experience as a "person who sounds British" and most sweet tea is pretty good in my experience as a Southerner(born and raised).
