I have pretty major reservations about Trump, but still this.  The Iraq War is really hard to forgive.

Bush did something unforgivable, but perhaps a part of him intended to do good and was just misled by those smarter (and more corrupt) than him. While Trump hasn't done anything on the scale of Iraq yet, we have no idea what kind of atrocities he'd commit as president. So, I can't believe I'm saying this, but Bush gets my vote.

It depends on their advisors. I'd prefer Trump if we're talking Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Co. but if Bush had different advisors, I'd probably go Bush.

Aside from my idealogical objections, the main reason Bush admin was such a failure was that he was a terrinle, terrible judge of personality and loyal to his subordinates to a fault.

Trump is far, far more dangerous than that.
