Good. Although I really can't imagine what exactly those people who disapprove of Obama and Clinton's response disapprove of. It's probably mostly a knee-jerk reaction. Obama said something - must be bad.

Wow, not what I expected at all. I would have thought for sure that TrumpMiller's response would have been met favorably by at least 45%.

So basically Trump completely flubbed what should have been a freebie for him.

I think trump's "thanks for the congrats" tweet and other subsequent shananigans really opened the eyes of some people who might be be sympathetic to Trump in general and after this situation in particular.  They thought a lot of Trump's act was for entertainment; a reality show.  But when it comes to the worst mass shooting in American history, he can't turn the narcissism off for even a few days?  What is wrong with him?

Perhaps if he didn't congratulate himself and then proceed to talk about conspiracy theories he might have got a bounce out of it.

StormTrumpers like him because of his self-congratulation and conspiracy theories, not in spite of them.

Mhmm. I think this attack could have had ratifications on the Veepstakes as well. I believed it made a Warren pick more unlikely, but Trump is such an idiot when it comes to this that if terror and guns are a main issue on the general, maybe she won't need a strong man by her side on the ticket.

Well if he wants to get 25% of the vote in November I guess he can keep on speaking to them.

Good to know my inclination from last night was correct!

At first I thought this attack would definitely help Trump, but his response has been so utterly botched...from the initial gloating tweet to implying that Obama is complicit in terrorism, that I'm not so sure anymore. I guess we'll find out soon enough.

All he needed to do was sit back, express sympathy, and be a serious candidate for once. It was a perfect opportunity for him and he blew it.

Not surprised that even a terrorist attack couldn't help him.  Trump supporters, at this point you have NOTHING left to stand on. He was handed a great talking point and he blew it.  Time to dump Trump at the convention.  He's a modern day Hindenburg and he's taking the entire party down with him.
