Islaendisch ist nicht hier, und ich weiss einige Deustch.

Self-demonstrating for a point that I probably have to brush up like heck on German before tackling anything else. That said, Italian would be where I want to start due to preference for their shows compared to most British or American programming, some ancestral roots, and it would've been nice to be able to communicate with others myself when I was visiting Italy.

Icelandic is also on my wish-list, but I know that that one is practically out of sight short of being airlifted and dropped into the most remote area of Iceland.

My "wish list" is topped by Russian and German, second tier is Latin and Greek. After that, in no order, I'd probably want to know Italian, Polish, some dead stuff from the British Isles, and so on.

Spanish, as it's clearly the most useful for me (I'm not in business, so Chinese would be way too time-consuming for me).  I only know 1,000 words, have an extremely bad ear, and a very ugly Mike Bloomberg accent.

French after that, so I can pretend that I'm going to become Owen Wilson from Midnight in Paris
