As we all have seen how Corey Lewandowski has run the Trump campaign it is a complete disaster. In my personal opinion, I think that Paul Manafort can salvage what remains of the Trump campaign but that is probably too much to ask for right now the campaign needs more than just Corey Lewandowski firing and he's a complete overhaul and Trump needs to calm himself down otherwise he is destined to lose. So in your opinion do you think that Paul Manafort can save the Trump campaign?

The TRUMP train is turning into a dumpster fire.

Depends on what “save” actually means. He may limit the damage to some extent. The main reason why the Trumpster’s campaign is failing is the Trumpster himself. His behavior after Orlando was disgusting and even lots of Republicans admit that. His unconventional approach may have delivered him the nomination, but running a general election campaign is a complete different story.

I doubt it, but it is certainly a step in the positive direction. If it turns out that all the Trump outlandish behavior was at the behest of Lewandowski egging him on, there may yet be a light at the end of the tunnel. But as I said, I doubt it.

Trump only listens to himself, only Trump can save his campaign and I don't see him changing.

He's certainly helpful since winning in November is something elese than winning the primaries.

You mean the same person who advised John McCain in 2008?  Yeahhhh sure.

That's what the Democrats have done with Hillary, quite frankly.

Trump does need to get to the point where he's not just a one-trick pony.  I wonder just what Corey Lewendowski knows about politics in terms of long-term strategizing.

You want to blame Manafort for that loss? Lots of factors contributed to Senator McCain's losing in 2008, none of which had anything to do with Manafort.

Not sure it makes a difference.  Trumps issues are directly Trumps own doing.    Whats the point of having a manager if in the end the candidate does something completely different?

Manafort may be able but trump will not allow it.

Donald Trump is the campaign manager of the Donald Trump campaign. Manafort may try to wring influence and hope to gain some level of decision making autonomy, but it's just not going to happen.

If Manafort's plan is to make Trump act more high minded and presidential, he has his work cut out for him. Lewandowski's strategy was to let Trump be Trump because he didn't have much say in the matter. If Manafort tries to ground Trump too much, it will probably blow up in his face.
