There was one time I was in irc and I told TSA I was unable to do whudu b/c I had no water or something and he replied that what I was doing was very haram or whatnot.
Only encounter on the Internet relay chat we ever had.

Not haram per se, I should have phrased that better, if there is no water, dust would also work, but yeah, it's considered haram to pray without performing ablusion first because it makes the salah void IIRC.

Edit: surprised I now have a thread about me.

I guess that was a misunderstanding, since I was talking about (I think) how I wasn't making up some lost Salah because I had no water. Forgot about tayummum at that time.
Oh, and I am honored, thanks.

Growing up in post-911 America as a Palestinian-American Muslim in a region not known for its tolerance really does harden your position on issues you care deeply about. I have that to thank.

I feel for ya. I don't agree with you on everything but I certainly don't blame you for not supporting Trump. As a fellow Muslim I do see intrinsically why you don't plan on voting for him,and respect your reasoning.

What is the Libertarian Party? His issues with the Republican Party, even before Trump, seem like a bridge too far.

Well to be fair my issue isn't with the platform itself it's mostly the non moderate Republicans I can't stand.

I do like Jeb, Kasich, Christie, Brown, Hogan, Ayotte and a few others. But a Cruz, Trump, Carson, Santorum/Huckabee type I can't stand.

But Ideologically and personally, Amash, the Pauls, Lee are among my most favorite of them.

Those are literally the best Republicans. Trump, Santorum and Huckabee are even relatively moderate.
