Great question - in high school, I made it my intention to have 10 kids (6 girls, 4 boys) with names laid out. Tore that up thankfully, but I remember Isabella, Brooke, Emma among them as I recall.

In recent time, I've become more realistic (and perhaps a wee bit selfish), but I no longer expect to have to children. If I were to, I'd probably cap it at 2 boys - something like Blake Oliver and Hunter Thomas. Though I'd need to give it some thought. I also like Caleb, Jacob, and Maverick.

Oliver Blake flows better and Hunter Thomas sounds too much like a window shade brand.  You could call your son Ollie B and start him off on an awkward Catholic white hiphop career!

I detest all these over the top names Millennials want to name their kids

I shall name my son Octavius Deus Babylonica and my daughter Flower Spring Emma Sunshine Rainbow Glitter.

I prefer names like Daniel, Angela, Jacob, Theresa, Emily, or Matthew.

I guess I kinda have a Scandinavian outlook on naming customs.  Give them a name they can live with.

Thank you for the critique! I'm easily open to changing Thomas - kept it because family name, but I could see Caleb there tbh.

I do like Oliver Blake slightly more as well now that you say it! I'm just horifled at the thought of them using nicknames like Ollie. It's why I avoid nice names like Douglas and Edward. But I'll train my fictional child.
