1. Having sex with a dead pig
2. Committing the most spectacular political suicide in recent history
3. Likely helping to cause subsequent collapse of the Union (by which I mean the "United" Kingdom)

He's certainly going to be remembered.

Cameron has cemented his legacy as the man who broke up Europe and the UK. I didn't hate him as PM, but now I can't help but say he has been awful for the kingdom.

The Brexit will easily overshadow any other "achievements" he may have made as PM and the fact that he's resigning over it pretty much validates that.  If the Brexit turns out to be a complete disaster (which I think it will be*), then history will not look very fondly at him.

My knowledge of the history of GB politics is too narrow for me to judge whether he will be the worst Prime Minister the country's ever had, but to me it seems that very well could happen.

*I've had a major shift of opinion on this recently and the short-term economic and political ramifications have me extremely anxious now.

Given how he just presided over something that may very possibly led to end of the "union of Kingdoms" which goes back all the way to 1707, I honestly don't know how any other PM can possibly top that.

Well, he'll be in good company.

Let him be a lesson to all of the other spineless conservative leaders (looking at you, Malcolm Turnbull).  Reign in your lunatic fringe or face the consequences of letting them control your "leadership".

Yes, Britain voted to leave the EU, but David Cameron allowed this to happen by refusing to lead his party and stand firm in his convictions.  He catered to the crazies with the promise of a sure-to-fail referendum, and then we learned, as we always do, that campaigns based on fear, hate and racism can work.

He's done a lot of good for the Scottish independence movement however.

There's only two good things he did, got Britain out of the EU, helping drive movements across europe, and his resignation.
