Hmm, the evidence has been deleted. Besides, I spelled Migrendel's name wrong on the ballot, I dont think it will count.

I'm doing the Senate races since TD has asked me to so he can concentrate on the Presidential election.

I think the intent of your vote is blindingly clear, and I will count it.

The reason I asked was because Mike Naso has had only 15 posts since he voted in the last Mideast election.

Okay:

The federal requirements are 25 posts in the last eight weeks, it does not correspond any longer to time between elections.

The Mideast has its own activity requirements, which Naso meets.

We are not counting RED NJ AVATAR, Kodratos, and Kevin's votes. It is 30-29 JFK as of now.
Sad Sad Sad Sad That makes 4 votes I lose over technicalities.  If I win, I will get rid of these technicalities.

Er, Kevin was on account of a lack of activity and Kodatros was because he edited his post; don't you think it would be a bad idea to remove the requirements of activity and not editing your post?

Kevins vote went because it doesnt make sense - just look at it (top of pg 4 i think) - you cant ever decipher intent from it.

That being said, I think Kodratos's vote should count because it can't be a repost as their was no official presidential vote in the first place.

There was an official one in the first place - the SoFA simply said that he couldn't count it because it was invalid.

Senate races as of Umengus vote with Kevin's discarded and Red NJ Avatar's not showing a Senate election vote:

Mideast
Kodratos 5
M+C 1 (flows to MasterJedi)
MasterJedi 6

Midwest
DanielX 6
MissCatholic 2
Yakshairbrush 2

Northeast
ColinW 14 (may have double-counted JJ's vote)
migrendel 5

Pacific
FP 10
TD 9

Southeast
BenMeyers 4
SamSpade 8

My count is quite different to this: (through Umengus)

Mideast
Round 1
Jedi - 6
Kodratos - 4
Milk and Cereal - 2

Round 2
Jedi 7 (elected)
Kodratos 4

Midwest
DanielX - 6 (elected)
Miss Catholic - 1
Yaks - 1
Ilikeverin - 1

Northeast
Colin - 12 (elected)
Migrendel - 4
Liberal PA - 1
Andrew - 1
Kevin - 1

Pacific
Future Prez - 10
True Democrat - 6
Wildcard - 1 (goes to TD)

Southeast
Sam Spade - 8
Ben Meyers - 5

Kevin, Kodratos, phknrocket and RED NJ AVATAR are not counted here.

Okay - Just realised in my check through all the ballots that we have another disqualification issue:

Banana Republic's vote has avatar problems, just as RED NJ AVATARS did.

Turnout (These numbers include all presently discounted ballots also, through Umengus)

Mideast - 13 voters out of 36 - 36%
Midwest - 9 voters out of 21 - 43%
Northeast - 21 votes out of 39 - 54%
Pacific - 18 votes of 24 - 75%
Southeast - 13 votes of 21 - 62%

Atlasia - 74 votes out of 141 - 53%

The eagle eyed among you may have noticed a few discrepancise with the FA voter list:

George W Bush is registered in the Mideast but is constrained to vote from Texas under the 10 day rule - he is thus counted as a part of the SEs turnout.

Huckleberry Finn is not allowed to vote under the 10 day rule, and thus I have not included him at all.

Now, in terms of turnout, I count 80 total votes placed out of 138 eligible voters up to Harry.  (Huck Finn registered after the date).

I don't know how many votes will be invalid right now.

In terms of Regional turnout, I count as follows:

Mideast 15 (34)
Midwest: 9 (21)
Northeast: 23 (40)
Southeast: 15 (20)
Pacific: 18 (24)

http://www.progressnj.com/atlaswiki/index.php/Mideast_Registered_Voters

Thats the Mideast, and its accurate to the best of my knowledge.

I set the wiki pages up when we were in between SoFAs as a place to track voter registrations.

None of them are current except the Mideast, which Joe and I do keep current, though I had never bothered to investigate whether anybody got caught out by the increase to the 50 post registration rule.
