Southeast Initative 46 includes "Indecent Exposure" as a crime that warrants an automatic 35 years in prison.

That seems, er, slightly excessive.

Interesting how htmldon has became three people according to this poll. Voter's remorse?

maybe we in the pacific should release a mandatory (temporary) dick-whipping-out law in the San Francisco Mardi Gras?

Since the Superbowl XXXVII was held in Texas, Janet Jackson would be serving 35 years under this law

While I’m defiantly against indecent exposure, this is way too much.  Think about it, if someone goes to their 35th birthday party and gets terribly drunk, he does this and doesn’t get out of prison until he’s 70!

I have just one question to those who voted against this based on indecent exposure being in there.  Why the hell wasn't it mentioned when I bumped the thread repeatedly asking for comments? I would've happily removed it if anyone had a problem with it.

That's become painfully obvious in Atlasia.

Jake:

Not to be mean or anything, but I did point that out on the thread right after you posted.

Just as a point, some of those definitions I don't believe should get 35 year minimum, like indecent exposure and promotion of obscenity to minors and whether attempts at doing this sort of thing (without actually doing it) should be on there.

Most of the rest are ok, though I don't know what enticement of a child really means legally.

Don't worry about it though, it's ok.  I'm used to being ignored.  Smiley
