He'll be to CNN what Dennis Kucinich is to FOX News. I guarantee it.

What do you mean by this? An ideological outlier, or someone who is on the payroll but hardly ever appears on screen?

Neither. I mean he'll be the crazy 'token conservative' of sorts.

People who watch CNN clearly want to be miserable, so it's not a bad move.

I don't see the problem with it.  How is this different from Fox, MSNBC, etc?

The guy ran a historic, nation wide, and unusual political campaign.  If Mike Huckabee can have a show on Fox I don't understand how this guy merely being a commentator is worse.

Mike Huckabee happened to be a governor for 11 years and won 8 states in the 2008 primaries... not really comparable.

Plenty of senior campaign staffers end up on cable news. MSNBC, for example, loads its roster full of Republican Presidential campaign staffers - Nicolle Wallace, Steve Schmidt, Ben Ginsburg, Rick Tyler, etc. - but all of them are far more "respectable" than Lewandowski, who is plagued with controversy. Even people who didn't like Cruz like Rick Tyler, and even people who didn't like Bush/McCain like Nicolle Wallace. I don't know anyone who actually likes Lewandowski or is interested in what he has to say.

Like I said.  Huckabee did nothing historic.

There are plenty of people I don't "like" on cable news who aren't significantly connected to anything historic.  "Liking" someone is not my litmus test for who should or should not be on cable news.  Honestly if your standard is Huckabee of all people gets a full show I see no reason Lewandowski can't be a commentator for a few months.  After Trump goes down in flames this guy isn't going to have a job at CNN.

I agree, and I have no problem with Lewandowski being a CNN analyst. I'm just saying that there is a reason why people are so angry about his hiring.

I guess my opinion of cable news punditry is so low Lewandowski doesn't strike me as any worse than any number of talking heads I could name.  The difference is none of the other over paid talking heads predicted a Trump victory and Lewandowski ran the winning campaign.  He knows more about the most topical story than any of the other unlikable people on the air.

I fail to see why he isn't any less qualified for a CNN slot then Obama official Van Jones or Cruz mistress Amanda Carpenter. If they sack Lewandowski, they have to sack them too.

CNN has plenty of Conservative commentators. He would be token on MSNBC, not CNN.
