he seems like a nice guy who likes to solve problems, but I hate his sponsoring of the phase-out of the beautiful incandescent bulb. he worked to reverse it a few years later, but the damage had been done. We still have a type of incandescent bulbs being sold in stores, but now they're filled with burn-hazard halogen.

Very, very lean FF (bordering on mixed). One of the more sensible members of the Republican conference, but has cast some bad votes.
