I'm kind of wondering since I know some liberals are so uncomfortable about churches being political in this sense....but on the other hand this is clearly liberal politicking.

Also I'm talking about not mentioning him by name but making it very blatantly obvious that he is the one being referred to, (a pretty easy loophole that allows churches to attack and endorse whoever they want with no repercussions.)

They have no right to question the one true prophet.

I'd be bothered only by the implication that he's any kind of prophet.

I might be bothered by that being done from the pulpit, but I actually agree with them and think one could pretty accurately describe Trump as a false prophet.

He's certainly not a prophet.  A prophet is not a foreseer; a prophet is one who speaks on behalf another, and Trump speaks only in his own behalf.

I'd be more willing to say that Trump is a mortal incarnation of Mammon, to be honest. And we don't even have physical representations of sin in my faith. He's just that bad.

Nope, cuz' it's true

The point of a false prophet is that they lead astray, regardless of whose behalf they actually try to speak for.

Perhaps it should spend more time proclaiming Christ crucified instead?

Only by implying that he is a profit at all regardless of whether or not he is a  true prophet.

If people are already stupid enough to think he's a prophet, then yes, I'm reluctantly in favor of others calling him a "false prophet."
