Corbyn's situation instantly reminds me of Macmillan's Night of the Long Knives. In a fit of panic, he sacked one third of his shadow cabinet and isn't very likely to surivive.

Of course Macmillan had a badass staches.

It was probably easy for him to believe. He was certainly out of his head at this point, and Americans played him just like they wanted.

It's sad, but doesn't make him less guilty in my eyes. Results matters.
