So, typical gun control nut laws that do zero to address crime, like, at all, and at the same time antagonizes, and criminalizes, many many tens of thousands of otherwise law abiding residents.  Nice job as always half wits.

I don't hate 'em, but I don't own 'em either.  I just find laws that won't do anything towards it's intended goals, and harms people that weren't doing sh**t to be stupid.  Some people think it's "baby steps" or some other nonsense.  I think it's bullsh**t.

I don't know what a "pinko" is. And I think Trump is more of a sensationalist than anything. He has no beliefs, just the belief in getting the highest ratings and having the biggest "stuff", and to those ends he will say and do anything.

And if you are jesting, then I guess I didn't catch that subtlety.

Apparently they even banned bullet buttons, which already required a separate tool to remove the magazine. You'd think there'd be a bit more push back in Cali because of the movie industry. With the Feds they haven't been getting new prop machine guns since 1986 and ATF freaks out when the studios just repair the weapons they already own that wear down over time. With these regs it'll be burdensome for the movie studios just to own semis. Guess Hollywood has less sway than I thought.

More reason to not live in California.

I'm pretty sure the state will continue to thrive despite that loss.

I know conservatives like to point California as an ungovernable nuthouse but reality once again has a liberal bias.

They are more concerned with other things like trying to eliminate net neutrality.

Unemployment rate above the national average, 17th highest tax burden in the US, 8th most debt per capita in the US ... California is a truly unique state in the US, and it will always do at least okay due to its immense tourist appeal and such, but it thrived under conservative leadership, too, did it not?  For all of its natural advantages, I'd hardly say it's thriving.  It's going okay.  Utah seems to be "thriving," for one example.  California has made a nice little comeback after being in a pretty bad situation circa 2008-2012, but it had nowhere to go but up.

Wasn't Newsom responsible for getting the Governor to sign this, or was that a different gun control bill?

Newsom is the main backer of this year's gun control ballot initiative. That might be what you're thinking of.

Just like Kansas did after 2012, right?

This isn't a competition, it's a discussion.  I have no ties to KS, so let's stay on topic.
