As much as I can't stand Trump, it isn't the job of the RNC to stop a candidate from participating in the process.

I see this as yet another move to weaken the national parties and and empower interest groups.  Very sad.

I agree completely. We need to strengthen the party if we want to put things back together, not weaken it. This only gives more power to Koch and Koch-like groups and the sort of deranged "grassroots activists" that got us to where we are in the first place!
