Former Governor Bessell announces his campaign in San Jose

(Yes, I changed identifiers to U.S. Rep. Bob Dold.)

Hello, Fremont! I'm here today to announce my campaign for Governor.

It was a pleasure to serve you as Governor of the Pacific for two partial terms. During my relatively short time in office, through leadership from the executive, I was able to essentially end the extremist violence that had plagued the Region, put us on track for a balanced budget by setting into motion the implementation of a Budgetary Commission's recommendations, and stood up to ISIS in the face of a historically high presence of the group in our Region. I also signed off on a system of universal background checks to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals and the mentally ill.

If elected to a full term (finally) I would continue implementation of our budgetary reforms, push for activity in our newly consolidated Region, and (most importantly) work to put in place a unified system of laws and Government for the Region -- currently, the states are doing their own thing. There will be plenty more to come on the policy front, as usual. Thank you, and God Bless Atlasia!

People are talking about flags now, so I whipped up a rough draft of a Fremont flag:



One star for every U.S. state in the Region, and a motto translating to "we are all equal in freedom." I'd love to hear your thoughts!
