I read over the comments, and one of the reasons Arkansas is a "racist state" is because "so many white people adopt minorities". I didn't know they did, and the only example I know of is my aunt and uncle adopting a black child, who took almost two years to adopt because of how incompetent our state DHS is.

Coincidentally, the most racist person I know is a guy from a suburb in CT, LOL.  Of course, he's the kind of racists who hates "overt racists" and doesn't realize how racist he actually comes off, as veiled as he might make it.
