OK so we all know that if we put a camera in Paul Ryan's voting booth we'd see him cast his vote for Hillary.  But he keeps digging this hole of supporting Trump deeper and deeper and deeper.  Since the day he endorsed him it's just been a press conference every few days where he has to say Trump is a moron.  Could Trump do anything to lose Ryan's support or is Ryan going to hit his 100th press conference condemning Trump's comments while insisting he's better than Clinton the day before the election?

No, because Paul Ryan is just an empty suit.

Publicly? No. Ryan will support the Republican candidate.

No, there is nothing anyone could do to stop Republican leaders in congress from supporting the Republican running.

Trump insulted McCain, and he still endorsed Trump at the end of the day.

The Party of Crooks, Cronies, and Cowards is nothing but a bunch of empty suits.

Lean No.

Trump could go out and shoot someone on 5th Avenue and Paul Ryan would put out a statement saying:
"His actions were textbook definition of manslaughter. I disavow of the murder but do I believe Hillary Clinton is the answer? No I do not."

If that happened he might revoke his endorsement for a week or two, only to bestow it again once Trump calls him and promises he'll help him push grannies into the ravine.

Or Hillary! could call black people n-ggers, refer to a Jew as "that bleeping Jew" and her husband could say that "a few years ago (Obama) wouldn't be carrying our bags" and the Congressional Black Caucus, Obama and most Jews would still support Hillary!

Partisanship is partisanship. Not surprising on either side of the aisle.

Except everything you just mentioned is completely unsubstantiated hearsay. Come back when Clinton's tweeted a picture of a Star of David on a pile of cash.

I don't think the people in this thread understand what the phrase "empty suit" means, for a start.

Anyway, no, because he clearly doesn't have it. Paul Ryan's entire shtick for the past two months have been a winking acknowledgement of the fact that he actually doesn't support Trump at all, while keeping a plausible deniability for the rubes. Trump cannot lose something he doesn't actually have.

Well, he could call for concentration camps for muslims and illegal immigrants and a wall at the Canadian border.

Technically, if Trump murdered Ryan, then he would lose his support because Ryan would no longer be physically capable of supporting anyone.

Otherwise, of course not.

Publicly, no. He has a duty to sort of 'speak for the party' but I'm sure he'll have many moments in the future when he wants to bang his head against a wall privately.

Unsubstantiated? Not quite. I believe the bags quote was leaked by Ted Kennedy. But I digress.

The Clintons don't need to tweet a sheriff's star on a pile of cash because they have pocketed tons of cash by exchanging favors with foreign governments that paid off the Clinton Foundation while Hillary! was SoS.

But that aside, politicians are phonies. They'll back each other publicly and hate each other in private. There's nothing new about any of this except that the red avatars on here think it's a big deal.

That's the correct answer. Ryan's entire reason of being is cutting taxes for the riches.
