Human Rights Campaign Endorses Kirk

I am literally speechless. I guess Bernie was right about the HRC.
Lol
They need a token Republican, like how the Tea Party endorsed Walt Minnick (D-ID) in 2010.

Two of them apparently - article notes they endorsed Dold as well.

Duckworth and Schneider may have just lost the election. Nice!

If Trump or Cruz is on the ballot, they'll both get Blanched, regardless of HRC endorsement.

I just noticed Human Rights Campaign and Hillary Rodham Clinton have the same initials.

Pls change thread title to: HRC endorses Kirk

Remember IL decided to not enact SSM when Rauner dumped Quinn in 2014.  Il isnt Iowa which enacted SSM.  Kirk's record outside of that issue is much more conservative and he supported Bush W tax cuts and against immigration reform

If Kirk were living in a safe state instead of Illinois, I doubt he'd call for hearings.

He probably would not have been the nominee in 2010. If you are implying Kirk is bad, I advise you to look at Duckworth. It's hard for an Illinois Republican to be worse than an Illinois Democrat.

Kirk and Dold and Rauner are part of the Kirk Dillard wing of the party.  Dillard was suppose to be Gov in 2010. His support went to Mark Kirk.

In 2016, much of the Rauner reform turnaround agenda hasnt passed, as more Dems sign up for Obsmacare, not just medicaid, as Dems reclaim Sen and win reclaim Gov.

I'd take both of them over most New Jersey politicians

I'm sure they aren't amazing, but they're certainly better than Illinois politicians.

Duckworth is the perfect candidate; just like Ginnoulius attacked Kirk's military record and GOP went after his patriotism, Duckworth's herorism and amputism will self deflect GOP criticism of her. Shes a good, not great  candidate.
Which is it?

RIP Kirk. There are definitely Republicans I'd rather see kicked out of the senate than him, but I'll be very happy to be able to say "Senator Duckworth."

Good, Kirk is the worst kind of Republican, a terrible human being and not a reliable vote for a GOP Senate majority. Would be happy if the GOP abandons him and focuses on winnable races in OH/PA/NV/WI/NC/MO/FL/AZ/LA.
Wait, since when are you including Wisconsin as a winnable race? I think Johnson is in even worse shape than Kirk.

He's a little delusional when it comes to Wisconsin.
