I'd prefer New England secede and then remain independent. I refuse to give Canada a single yard of American clay.

They should re-join old England (and Wales) to compensate for the impending loss of Scotland.  (Not sure what Northern Island will do.)

Maybe just Vermont? We'd love to have Bernie Sanders so that he can run for NDP leader.

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Of course not, but this actually were to happen, at least restore an independent Dominion of New England, and then strenuously pretend that the name does not contain the words "Dominion of".

Should have happened in 1815, now it's unreasonable, New England has stronger economic ties to the rest of the North East and NY Metro than to Canada. Plus the constitutional process would be a huge pain in the head, 6 states needs to approve it and if it were to happen it would make a great case to either unite them into one large state or 2 north-south state bundles
