72 hours for debate. The debate in the House was a little sloppy - several amendments were made that I am assuming were considered friendly, but no official word from Speaker Kent. I imagine that we will be making amendments, so it'll have to go back to the House anyways.

You guys better get things moving here so I can appoint someone to the post.

Also, you should add something about IRL things. Both before the reset and after. This was brought up earlier regarding PBS. Basically, IMO, you should specify that things are true if they were true before the reset, unless the GM specifies that it isn't (and I don't see why they would). For example, PBS is real unless it's explicitly repealed, even if an equivalent is passed instead. Unsure about what to do with current events, but something about that should be in here, too.

Going to introduce a working amendment, open to suggestions. I agree with the president, this should be something done as quickly as possible.

Let me know your thoughts on the new Clause 5, specifically the last sentence. I'm open to changing if someone has better wording. I also eased the process for confirmation - we're still on a learning curve with two chambers in Atlasia, but the House in real life is a more partisan chamber and I don't think partisanship should be considered when selected a game moderator. I support the last clause that creates stricter guidelines for dismissal of the GM.

Seems rather long, and excessive for both chambers to confirm them- I support the Senate being the only chamber as we're the most representative.

Can we add an amendment saying that only the GM has control over foreign events? I very much disliked the last system where the Secretary of State could write stories for themselves, or any other cabinet head for that matter

I agree - all events should run through the GM office. I think Clause 3a1 satisfies that, though. Is there a better way you would like it to be worded?

Looking at that the amendment you offered is tight enough

Any feedback from other senators? Personally, I think the amended version adequately addresses the concerns that were made, but I'm open to suggestions.

Really disappointed by the lack of discussion on this important bill.

We are now at a final vote - maximum of 72 hours to vote. Senators, please vote Aye, Nay or Abstain.

This has enough votes to pass. Senators have 24 hours to change their votes.

This act has passed in the Senate. Since it was amended, the Vice President must now open it up to a vote again in the House.
