I have no idea, although I expect that with their aim met, there would have been no need for a continuance of it.

Okay, for the 100th post on this thread:

if this were not discovered do you think this would have continued? i.e. more people sabotaging their votes?
Very likely.  We could have seen this go into the presidential election.

More to come...anyone want to come forward before being shamefully exposed?

HAHA, I've already got people complaining to me.  Sigh, wouldn't be an election without a controversy.

Edit:  This will turn into a 10 page bitchfest, just watch.

7 so far and counting.

Hmm, I went to bed at midnight and in 7 hours this thread already was at seven pages. Phil must've pulled an all nighter.

Wow.  I go to bed last night, come back here and there's a real bitchfest going on.

I guess I should also state for the 'record' that I was there in Teamspeak when all of this was going on.  I can't remember too many details unfortunately.  I apologize sincerely for whatever involvement I had in this.

I say we use this as an excuse to abolish the Southeast and give it all to the Midwest Cheesy

The Midwest never has scandals, it just has odd gubernatorial elections Wink (and they are not scandalous!)

Just like "Harry gate" and "irish demgate/girlgate" or whatever, I fail to see what was done wrong.  Keystone and Alcon simply attempted to sway people's votes, and given that the constitution gives us the option of invalidating our own votes, an action that I myself have done, I see no problem with attempting to convince people to take that route.

Honestly, this is just ridiculous.

While I don't plan on doing it, I have looked at what would happen if I were to invalidate my vote. Little would change though.

Is there any law that could invalidate this entire election for SE gov? I saw mention of it earlier, and encouragement for the 2 candidates to not accept the office. Is this being pursued anywhere?

Yes, I'm thinking about resigning if I am re-elected, so that there will be another election.
